Appearance Settings

Control the look and feel of the editor interface.

Mode

Choose your color scheme:

  • Light: Bright interface for daytime writing.
  • Dark: Dark interface for reduced eye strain.
  • System: Follows your operating system's setting automatically.

Theme

Pick a color palette that matches your mood:

Blue NotePale steel, navy ink, calm focus-mode energy.

Each theme works in both Light and Dark mode.

Typography

Change the typography of the editor. All styles use system fonts -- nothing is downloaded.

Document Outline

Toggle the interactive structure outline on the left side of the editor. The outline shows headings from your document and lets you click to jump between sections.

Editor Statistics

Display word count and/or character count at the bottom of the editor:

  • Words & Characters (default)
  • Words Only
  • Characters Only
  • None
